RSS: A Vision in Action’ was one of the first comprehensive books on Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh’s organisational activities and its impact on society. The book is a key to understanding the evolution of the RSS since 1925. This book was written by HV Seshadri who was a full-time worker (Pracharak) of the RSS. He had joined RSS in the 1940s and became its Sarkaryavah(General Secretary) in 1987. He held this responsibility for nine years. He was not only an excellent organiser but also a literary doyen.

‘ RSS: A Vision in Action’ is one of the most important books written by Seshadri  as it gives an insider’s overview of the vast organisational network of the RSS, its ideology and the functional mechanism that continues to drive it.
